About
Engineer first, problem-solver always
I am a software engineer with more than six years of experience turning rough
product ideas into services people rely on daily. Most of my work sits where the
backend meets the browser: designing data models, shaping APIs, and making sure the
interface on top feels instant.
I care about the unglamorous parts of the job — readable code, meaningful tests,
clear migrations, and dashboards that tell you the truth. On recent teams I have
trimmed page loads from seconds to milliseconds, replaced brittle cron scripts with
proper queues, and mentored junior engineers into confident code reviewers.
Outside of work I write about system design, contribute small fixes to open-source
tooling, and spend a fair amount of time tuning my terminal setup.
